- Valve extension arm — 12" handle extension for hard-to-reach valves
- Y-splitter — 2" IBC inlet to dual 3/4" GHT outlets
Installation tip: When replacing a butterfly valve, apply a thin coat of food-grade silicone lubricant to the gasket face to ensure a proper seal. Hand-tighten only — over-torquing can crack the PP adapter ring.
Caps & Lids
The 6-inch (150mm) fill cap is the second most commonly replaced part. A worn or cracked cap allows contamination, evaporation, and pest entry. We carry caps for every situation.
- 6" screw cap with EPDM gasket — standard replacement (NW150 thread)
- 6" screw cap with Viton gasket — chemical-resistant upgrade
- 6" screw cap with silicone gasket — food-grade, high-temperature
- 6" vented cap with check valve — pressure relief for filling/dispensing
- 6" vented cap with activated carbon filter — odor and VOC control
- 6" screened cap — mesh insert for debris filtration (rain barrel use)
- 6" blanking cap — solid seal, no opening (long-term storage)
- 6" tamper-evident cap — breakaway ring shows if opened
- 6" lock-out / tag-out cap — keyed lock prevents unauthorized access
- 2" valve dust cap — protects valve outlet when not in use
- 2" bung plug — male thread, seals unused ports
- S60x6 threaded cap — for European-style IBC outlets
Compatibility note: Most US-market IBCs use 150mm coarse thread (NW150). Some European imports use a fine thread variant. Measure your existing cap or bring it in for matching.
Gaskets & Seals
Gaskets are consumable items that should be inspected annually and replaced at the first sign of compression set, cracking, or leakage. We stock gaskets in three materials to cover food-grade, general-purpose, and chemical-resistant applications.
- Lid gasket — EPDM, 150mm (standard, good to 250°F, water/food-safe)
- Lid gasket — Viton (FKM), 150mm (chemical-resistant, acids, solvents)
- Lid gasket — Silicone, 150mm (food-grade, high-temp to 400°F, odorless)
- Lid gasket — PTFE envelope with silicone core (universal chemical resistance)
- Valve seat gasket — EPDM, fits standard 2" butterfly and ball valves
- Valve seat gasket — Viton, fits standard 2" valves (solvent-resistant)
- O-ring kit — 10-piece assortment of common IBC O-ring sizes (EPDM)
- O-ring kit — 10-piece assortment (Viton) for chemical service
- Camlock gasket — EPDM, 2" (fits all Type A/B/C/D/DC/DP couplers)
- Camlock gasket — Viton, 2" (chemical-resistant camlock service)
- Food-grade seal kit — includes lid gasket, valve gasket, and O-rings (silicone)
- Chemical-resistant seal kit — includes lid, valve, and O-rings (Viton)
- Flat gasket sheet — EPDM, 12" x 12" x 1/8" (cut your own custom gaskets)
Material guide: EPDM is the all-purpose choice for water, food, and mild chemicals. Viton resists fuels, oils, and strong solvents. Silicone handles extreme temperatures. PTFE is the universal fallback for unknown or aggressive chemicals.

Installation & Compatibility Notes
Universal Valve Threading
The vast majority of IBC totes sold in North America use a 2-inch (50mm) NPS (National Pipe Straight) or BSP (British Standard Pipe) outlet thread. Our valves and adapters are designed with a coarse-thread outer ring that fits both standards. If you have an older or European-import tote with an S60x6 fine-thread outlet, we carry S60x6-to-2" adapters that bridge the gap. When in doubt, measure the thread diameter: 2" NPS/BSP measures approximately 2.375" (60.3mm) across the outside of the threads.
Food-Grade vs. Industrial Parts
For food-contact applications, use only FDA-compliant gaskets (silicone or food-grade EPDM), stainless steel fittings, and food-grade hoses. Our food-grade seal kit includes all the gaskets you need in one package. For industrial applications handling non-food chemicals, Viton gaskets and polypropylene fittings offer the best chemical resistance at a lower cost than stainless. We label every item in our catalog with its material and FDA compliance status.
Heating Blanket Sizing
Our heating blankets are manufactured to fit the standard IBC form factor (48" x 40" perimeter). They wrap around the cage exterior and secure with integrated straps. The same blanket fits both 275-gallon and 330-gallon totes — the height difference is accommodated by adjusting the vertical position. For 330-gallon totes, the blanket covers the bottom 80% of the bottle, which is sufficient for freeze protection and viscosity control. If full-height coverage is critical, we can source taller blankets on special order (5-7 day lead time).
Pump Selection Guide
For gravity-fed dispensing (IBC elevated above the discharge point), no pump is needed — just open the valve. For applications requiring pressurized output, choose a pump based on your flow rate needs: the hand-crank rotary pump delivers 8 GPM and requires no power. The 12V DC pump delivers 10 GPM and runs off a vehicle battery. The 120V AC pump delivers 15 GPM and is the best choice for permanent installations. For viscous liquids (honey, syrup, glycerin), select a positive displacement pump — contact us for viscosity-matched recommendations.
