The People Behind Your Second-Life Totes
We are St. Louis's premier IBC tank recycling and redistribution company. Founded on the principle that no reusable container should end up in a landfill, we've built a comprehensive operation that gives intermediate bulk containers a second, third, and even fourth life.
From our 15,000-square-foot facility in Earth City, Missouri, we process over 15,000 IBC totes per year — inspecting, cleaning, reconditioning, and redistributing containers that would otherwise occupy landfill space for centuries. Our team of trained technicians brings decades of combined experience in container management, industrial cleaning, logistics, and environmental compliance to every tote that comes through our doors.
We serve the entire greater St. Louis metropolitan area and beyond, working with manufacturers, food producers, chemical companies, farms, breweries, construction firms, and individual homeowners. Whether you need to sell one used tote or purchase a truckload of reconditioned food-grade containers, we provide the same level of professional service, competitive pricing, and environmental commitment that has made us the region's most trusted name in IBC recycling.
Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To eliminate IBC tote waste in the St. Louis region by building a sustainable, profitable circular economy for intermediate bulk containers. We do this by maximizing the reuse lifespan of every tote, providing accessible and affordable container solutions to businesses of all sizes, and ensuring that end-of-life materials are recovered and returned to the manufacturing stream rather than lost to landfills. Our work reduces waste, conserves natural resources, and proves that environmental responsibility and strong business economics go hand in hand.
Our Vision
A future where no IBC tote in the Midwest ends up in a landfill. We envision a fully connected regional network of collection, reconditioning, and redistribution hubs that keeps every container cycling productively for its maximum useful life. We aim to set the standard for industrial container sustainability — demonstrating to other regions and industries that comprehensive circular economy models work at scale. By 2030, we plan to expand our operations across three states and process 50,000+ totes annually.
Our Values
Environmental Stewardship
Every decision we make considers the environmental impact. From our water-efficient cleaning processes to our zero-waste recycling protocols, sustainability isn't a buzzword — it's our operating system. We track every pound of material that enters and leaves our facility, maintaining a 98.4% material recovery rate. Our closed-loop wash system recycles 85% of the water we use. We continuously invest in technology and processes that reduce our own footprint while helping our customers reduce theirs.
Circular Economy
We believe in keeping materials in use for as long as possible. IBC tanks are built to last — our job is to make sure they fulfill their full potential lifespan before responsible end-of-life processing. A well-maintained IBC tote can serve 5-7 use cycles over 10-15 years. By extending each tote's life, we reduce the demand for new container manufacturing, which in turn reduces raw material extraction, energy consumption, and the carbon emissions associated with producing new HDPE plastic and galvanized steel.
Community First
As a local St. Louis business, we're invested in our community. We provide affordable solutions for local farms, businesses, and homeowners while creating green jobs in Earth City. We source locally whenever possible — our cleaning supplies, replacement parts, and logistics partners are all regional businesses. We participate in local environmental initiatives, partner with area schools on recycling education, and donate repurposed totes to community gardens and urban farming projects.
Transparency & Trust
We provide full documentation on the history and condition of every tank we sell. Our grading system ensures you know exactly what you're getting. Every reconditioned tote leaves our facility with a grade label, cleaning record, and previous-contents documentation. We publish our pricing guidelines openly, provide detailed invoices, and welcome customers to visit our facility to see our processes firsthand. We believe trust is built through consistent action, not marketing promises.
Quality Without Compromise
Every tote we sell must pass our rigorous 12-point inspection. We never cut corners on cleaning, testing, or grading. If a tote does not meet our standards for its designated grade, it is either downgraded or sent to recycling — never shipped to a customer as something it is not. Our reputation is built on the reliability of our products, and we protect that reputation with every container we process.
Continuous Innovation
The recycling industry evolves constantly, and so do we. We invest in new cleaning technologies, material recovery processes, and logistics optimization to improve efficiency and reduce waste. We test new approaches to cage repair, bottle assessment, and contaminant detection. We study emerging regulations and best practices from around the world and incorporate the best ideas into our operations. Standing still is not an option when the planet needs bold solutions.
Company Timeline
Founded in Earth City, MO
Started operations with a small lot, a single truck, and a clear mission: keep reusable IBC totes out of St. Louis landfills. Initial capacity was approximately 50 totes per month, serving a handful of local manufacturers who needed an environmentally responsible option for their used containers.
Installed Closed-Loop Wash System
Invested in our first professional closed-loop wash system, dramatically reducing water consumption and improving cleaning quality. This system recycles 85% of wash water and allowed us to offer food-grade reconditioning for the first time.
Expanded Fleet & Service Area
Added flatbed trucks and semi-trailers to our fleet, expanding our service radius to 150 miles and launching weekly scheduled pickup routes across the metro area. This expansion allowed us to serve the agricultural and construction sectors for the first time.
10,000 Totes Processed Milestone
Reached the milestone of 10,000 IBC totes processed in a single year. Expanded our facility to 15,000 square feet with dedicated zones for receiving, inspection, cleaning, reconditioning, storage, and shipping.
Launched Rebottling Program
Began offering rebottled IBC totes — replacing worn HDPE bottles with brand-new ones in existing steel cages. This service gives customers a like-new container at a fraction of the cost while reusing the steel frame, further reducing waste and manufacturing demand.
15,000+ Totes Per Year
Currently processing over 15,000 IBC totes annually with a 98.4% material recovery rate. Serving hundreds of businesses across Missouri and Illinois with a team of dedicated professionals and a growing fleet of specialized vehicles.
The Road Ahead
Developing partnerships to create a regional IBC recycling network spanning Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas. Exploring advanced recycling technologies including chemical recycling of HDPE and automated inspection systems. Goal: 50,000+ totes processed annually by 2030.
